Trainee solicitors
At SAS Daniels we look for a strong academic record, enthusiasm, fresh thinking and of course hard working individuals. In addition we look for people who embrace our values, work well in teams and play an energetic role in business development.
What to expect during your training contract
During your two-year training contract, you will complete four six-month seats and have the opportunity to choose from a range of practice areas across our five business groups:
- Corporate
- Litigation – Commercial Litigation and Personal Injury
- Employment
- Real Estate
- Private Client – Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, Older and Vulnerable Client, Family
We will discuss with you which seats interest you the most as you progress through your training, although we cannot promise to match you up with your first choice every time.
We will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a range of contentious and non-contentious work to enable you to gain broad experience and to get a feel for which areas of law best fit your interests and abilities.
From your acceptance of a trainee place, we will provide you with a buddy to keep you informed of news and events at SAS Daniels LLP and to support you through your months before joining as a trainee solicitor. We offer client contact early in your contract and the opportunity to develop your legal as well as client and business development skills.
As recognised Investors in People, we have a strong commitment to training and development and offer a structured career path supported by appropriate training and personal development.
