Dennis Carter
Introduction
Having worked within the areas of estates, trusts and taxation for many years, firstly with a bank trust company and presently with SAS Daniels, I now specialise, on a part time basis in investigating old matters in these three disciplines. Tracing missing assets, executors or beneficiaries and – where possible – bringing matters to a conclusion.
Team: Private Client
Experience
Joined SAS Daniels: 1997
Qualified: 1970
Professional memberships / positions: Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Trustee Diploma)
Recent work
- Jewellery found in strongroom, traced through 2 estates to ultimate beneficiary - delivered July 2011
- In claiming some past dividends, cheque was lost, then both LPRs died, son traced to sign form for collection
- Monies to distribute. No File. LPR wrote in, by co-incidence. Minimal reconstruction of information - still ongoing
How I make a difference
Skills acquired over many years enable me to use detective work, to build up information, particularly where there are missing files, and to deliver assets or cash to a beneficiary. Closure is “a good job done".
