Kaye Whitby


I head the Commercial team within our Corporate Group, advising a broad range of business clients on corporate and commercial transactions. My work involves advising clients on a wide range of commercial and trading agreements including supply of goods and services, outsourcing, IT, IP, distribution, agency, franchising and data protection. I also advise on acquisitions, disposals, shareholder agreements and general company law issues.

In addition, I have acted as a judge for the Cheshire Business Awards and a ‘Dragon’ for the Young Enterprise at the University of Chester in 2014.

  • Advised a University technical college, on its IT outsourcing arrangements with an international outsourcer
  • Advised GTA England on its funding agreements with their commercial partners
  • Acted for a major subcontractor on suite of complex agreements relating to the offtake and disposal of waste materials in connection with a national £750m waste PFI project
