I advise private and commercial clients in court actions as well as looking at alternative methods of resolving disputes. I have experience in different areas but primarily relating to contractual claims (including debt recovery), commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes and negligence / duty of care actions.

• Resolution of a dispute against a large commercial building company for a local sub-contractor
• Recovery of monies for a local company against a multi-national corporation
• Representing a charity, CSEF (Children's Safety Education Foundation) when disputing a claim against them for monies due and successfully defending the action and securing Judgment on a counterclaim against the claimant company

How I make a difference

Whilst fighting for your client’s best interests, the proportionality of the dispute must be borne in mind. Progressing in a commercially sensible way yet furthering client’s principles usually brings a conclusion upon which most clients (and their accountants!) are satisfied.
