Nigel Haddon, our managing partner, qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and is a construction lawyer and Arbitrator. Nigel became managing partner in 2005 and has since steered the firm through two mergers to become Cheshire’s leading law firm. Nigel attended the Leading Professional Service Firms course at Harvard Business School in June 2007, and in December 2008 became Chair of the Law Society’s Law Management Section. Nigel has written articles for a number of publications, including Managing for Success and Managing Partner magazine.

Nigel lives with his wife and daughter and away from the office enjoys good food and wine, sport, the arts, Italy and the Lake District. Nigel is also a Parent Governor at his daughter’s primary school.

As Chief Operating Officer and a partner, Andrew is responsible for the firm’s central management team which includes HR, business development, knowledge management, IT, premises and facilities, risk and finance. He joined the firm in January 2003 after completing an MBA at Manchester Business School and has seen the firm develop and grow through two mergers and the opening of a Chester office. Previously he worked for 12 years in the agricultural and veterinary industry where he gained experience in consultancy, sales and marketing, managing change and in particular the pressures faced by owner managed businesses.

Andrew is married and has a daughter. In his spare time he runs a photography club at his local church and enjoys travelling and playing golf when he can find time.

Andy is the Business Development Director. He has worked in professional services for over 10 years, for leading accountancy and legal practices, before joining SAS Daniels LLP in May 2010 to help the business achieve the next stage of its ambitious growth plans. Andy is responsible for all aspects of business development, including marketing, communications, branding, advertising, sponsorship and client development.

Andy became a father for the first time a week after joining the business and so has absolutely no spare time! He is a keen golfer and Liverpool FC fan and enjoys great food, great drink and great company.

Elizabeth is the Finance Manager at SAS Daniels LLP. A Philosophy and Politics graduate, she came into management accountancy more by accident than design, having been the Practice Manager at Daniels Solicitors until 2006, but it is a position that she thrives in and enjoys enormously. Among the various hats she wears in this role, Elizabeth has the dubious privilege of being the firm’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Financial Services Compliance Officer. Her favourite pastimes at work are producing meaningful KPIs, financial modeling and helping client facing department managers find ways to deliver their financial objectives.

Outside of work Elizabeth puts her national youth work qualification to use by helping to run a youth club at her local Church, where she also sits on the leadership team. At home Elizabeth is supported by her husband, Richard, and kept very busy and very entertained by her two daughters, Georgina and Charlotte.

Jayne Ridings is the Office Manager for SAS Daniels LLP five offices. She is responsible for all office facilities, and also has responsibilities in the areas of staff recruitment, welfare and allocation of support staff services. Jayne started working for the firm in 1999 as an estate agent in their Property Department and has also worked as a Personal Assistant to Senior Management. Jayne is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

She is married to Martin and has a daughter and granddaughter. When Jayne and her husband have any spare time they enjoy travelling.

As IT Manager Andy is responsible for the identification and provision of IT services across our five sites. Andy covers the engineering support and maintenance of the server and network infrastructure and the management of service delivery, first and second line support, training and the case/practice management software. Andy joined the firm in January 2007 after gaining experience as a senior engineer in the legal, public and corporate sectors.

Married with two children, Andy enjoys spending his spare time with them and helping to run a church house group.
