A partner in our Commercial Property department in Congleton since February 2006, Rebecca initially joined the firm in 1995 as a trainee solicitor. Having qualified in 1997 she left 2 years later but returned in 2002 to the Congleton office with a wealth of experience specialising in commercial property work, including landlord & tenant matters, sales and acquisitions and acting for lending institutions.
Rebecca enjoys spending her spare time with her family which includes two young children and keeps fit by swimming and occasional aerobic classes.

Tim, a partner in our Commercial Property team based at our Macclesfield office at SAS Daniels LLP, was educated at The Ryleys, Alderley Edge, Dean Close School Cheltenham and Manchester University, qualifying as a solicitor in 1972. Tim joined the firm in 1988 and is a highly experienced property lawyer and is currently Chairman of the Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce.
His interests include watching all sports – particularly Macclesfield Town FC – and playing golf. He also likes to spend time with his family which now includes two grandsons and spending time in The Cotswolds.

Philip M. Smith has been a commercial property lawyer based in our Stockport office since 1972. He is a land and property lawyer, specialising in business property. In his time as a partner, Philip has headed the firm through ten years of spectacular growth and progress. He regularly advises on a wide range of business issues including tenancies and shareholders’ agreements. With his understanding of tax, planning, capital allowances and environmental issues, Philip can advise on all property issues both commercial and private.
Philip enjoys travel, food and fine drink, music, natural history and science, cycling and crosswords.

Nigel qualified in 1978 and after more than 20 years as a partner became a consultant to the firm in 2005. Nigel advises both national and local businesses on a range of commercial matters including commercial leases, commercial property sales and purchases and business sales and purchases. Nigel’s litigious experience covers landlord and tenant matters, acting for landlords and tenants in court proceedings with respect to business lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1984 and advice on action required in respect of schedules of dilapidations.

Patricia Kelly joined SAS Daniels LLP as an Assistant Solicitor in our Commercial Property department in February 2008 after completing her training contract in 2007. Patricia’s particular areas of expertise are in refinancing, leases, licences, overage agreements, sales and purchases and landlord and tenant work.
Out of the office Patricia likes to socialise, travel, wine and dine and enjoys a variety of sports.
